You will take care of me:

As a song in your hand,

Cup your fingers to stave

What my enemy’s planned;

I’ll sing your harmony.

And if you let me go,

I’ll fling notes ‘pon the sky!

With father’s keen vision

Train a bow as I fly;

Bury arrow in foe.

However, if pleasure

You gain more on ground,

I’ll let molt these pinions

And carol earthbound—

Still there I’m your treasure.

And when our communion

Is had better by loss,

Lead me up the dark road,

Help me carry my cross—

Oh, deepen our union!

There beneath the death tree,

‘Neath branches drenched in blood,

Awaken the dawn light,

Cause a new flow’r to bud:

Revise the song in me.

For then, as your fire-bird,

My Father, your daughter

Will fly for you yet once again:

She’ll be as you saw her,

She’ll be as you saw her,

Before she had e’re sung a word…

Before she had e’er sung a word…

Before she had e’er sung a word

Ti prenderai cura di me (Phoenix)

Di Skye Shae Bonati

12 Aprile, 2025

Ti prenderai cura di me:

Come una canzone nelle tue mani,

Chiudi le dita a coppa per allontanare

quello che il nemico ha in mente;

Canterò la tua armonia.

E se mi lasci andare,

scaglierò note nel cielo!

Con l'acuta visione del Padre

preparo l’arco mentre volo;

E conficco una freccia nel nemico.

Tuttavia, se di piacere

ne guadagni di più sulla terra,

lascerò che queste ali si sciolgano

e che io canti a terra –

Anche lì sono il tuo tesoro.

E quando il nostro legame

risulterà migliore nella sconfitta,

Guidami lungo la strada buia,

Aiutami a portare la mia croce –

Oh, approfondisci la nostra unione!

Lì sotto l'albero della morte,

sotto i rami intrisi di sangue,

risveglia la luce dell'alba,

fa sbocciare un nuovo fiore:

Rivaluta il canto in me.

Perché allora, come il tuo uccello di fuoco,

mio padre, tua figlia

volerà per te ancora una volta:

sarà come l'hai vista,

sarà come l'hai vista,

prima ancora che cantasse una parola...

prima ancora che cantasse una parola...

prima ancora che cantasse una parola
