Warrior Interrupt

You call me warrior
Arrows fly
Rest
Heart posture on my knees
Get through that moment in a breeze.
Others times heart still torn apart
What do I do with the bleeding
Next generation preceding
All eyes on me, what they do not see
I am a warrior & will tell my story
Blindness & silence
Pain & fear
Searing silence or
abrupt explosion of anger in the moment, prayer interrupts.
Reach for the cope, the dope, the vape, the smoke, the bottle, the blade, the spade, the endless reaching of phone, endless searching for love, to be seen, to be heard, to hide in shame.
Prayer interrupts, you are healed in Jesus name.
Simpler than one word.
One heart.
Broken.
Surrendered.
I am a warrior.
I do not have to fight.
I win.
He won.
It is done.
