Imma be a funny person when I die

so many things that I've tried

Things poking out of corners and blindsides 

like a house that was built by children

So many things to fit in

We can't make up our minds

I'm just warning you

Prob'ly won't live the life of the common

loon on the lake, but I'm all in

Snorkeling past the apparent

diving for treasure that's buried

shake it all out for its story

to get all that I can

I'm just warning you

I'mma be a language they haven't discovered

til the right time, just never uncovered

*

Describing a new set of characters

Merriam's press never looked at

stenographers scratching their note pads

trying to simplify it
